Description:

• an inexpensive yet fine sounding electric upright bass (EUB)

• It has two pickups with separate 1/4” jacks, a piezo built into the adjustable bridge, and an Alembic pickup with active electronics that can be moved up and down between the fingerboard and bridge for the desired tonal color. The two pickups can be blended through your amplifier to get even more of a range of tonal color.

• The upper "bouts" are adjustable and there is a knee block that attaches to the back if desired. 

• The instrument comes with a padded bag.

• Here is a quick & dirty recording I did with the Banchetti to show its tonal range. It starts with just the piezo pickup. At 30 seconds I have just the Alembic positioned at the fingerboard (warmer sound). At 56 sec. I have the Alembic at the bridge (brighter sound). At 116 sec. I have the piezo and Alembic at the fingerboard. At 138 sec. I have the piezo and Alembic at the bridge. The volume and tone for the Alembic preamp were wide open.
